Thank god that shit's over

Well, it took 24 hours, but we have power. No phone, but that's minor.

I was in an accident last night on the way home from work--and miraculously, the guy did no damage to my car or his. He rammed me pretty good (or maybe it just felt that way because I didn't see it coming) but our cars were fine. It was almost otherworldly.

I thought of you when they said Detroit on the news. I'm not sure how close that is to Ann Arbor (I'm geographically-challenged), but I figured you were in the dark.
