In taking my walks, I've dug out a lot of my old mixed tapes. Boy, talk about bringing back memories. I forgot how many tapes I have that were made for me by ex-boyfriends. Even on the ones I made for myself, it's been so long since I've listened to them that I can't recall the order of the songs.

Last night I discovered that when you're in a particularly dark part of the street, the opening bars of "How Soon Is Now" by The Smiths blaring out loudly with no warning can nearly scare the pants off of you.
