So am a socialist if I feel irritated by ongoing high salary and bonuses for executives at failed, struggling, and bailed-out Wall Street firms? What if I think "spreading the wealth" around means we use some of those millions in proposed bonuses to, instead, help do the work that taxpayer funds are supposed to be doing?

Was Bob talking about popular votes? How could he be? Obama’s popular vote margin stands at 7,4 million — more than twice Bush’s 2004 vote margin. Was he talking about electoral votes? Nope, Obama has 63 more electoral votes than Bush in 2004.

For some odd reason relating to system access on a data server, I have to be added to UC-Berkeley's employee system (for an upcoming research study we're doing with them). I don't do anything there, I don't get paid, I don't receive benefits, I don't have an academic or staff appointment there. Nothing. I think I *might* have increased access to their library card catalog, as the one and only other benefit I might have from this. But I *AM* now in their system.

Naturally, I am going to take that and RUN WITH IT.

So as far as you people are concerned, I have a JOINT APPOINTMENT between Michigan and Berkeley. *lifts nose in air*
