Yesterday I cruised over to Borders to buy several Mother's Day presents. Before going I checked my inbox and the website to make sure they didn't have any coupons out there in the ether. Nope. So I bought three books.

Today, what does Borders do? SENDS ME A COUPON. Yeah yeah, if this were truly messing with my blood pressure I could take one back and buy it over again, but you know, that's a hassle. How much is my time worth?

More crankiness: I have a certain tolerance for supernatural content on the TV show "LOST." I'll put up with some--not a lot, but SOME. Last night that threshold was crossed, and we're not talking about the writers just poking a pinky toe over the line. IRRITATION.
