Cranky Plays Grown Up
Jan. 28th, 2003 12:50 pmI happened to notice an ad in our employee newspaper--an ad for a housing community that is supposed to be "neotraditional" in its approach to neighborhoods. It's right near the town where my friend who lives in Monroe wants to live. And it wouldn't be a bad commute for us, either. So I sent her a little email and told her we could be neighbors.
Now we're all in a delightful tizzy over it. The chance that we'd both move there and be neighbors is slight indeed, but it's awfully fun to dream about it. I get an email from her every few minutes saying taxes are this, the school system is that, etc etc. We're going to go check out a model soon. Hee!
