I wonder.... if you're a singer in one of those bands who sings covers for misleading compilation albums, how demoralizing is that?

Had a lovely dinner with friends on Friday, including a chance to meet thirdreel. He is not only from my hometown; it turns out that his father is the photographer who took my senior portraits. However, it's probably not appropriate to say "small world!" in that wondering tone when, after all, it's more a matter of "small town."

I took so much stuff to the various donation centers around town on Saturday. Why does my house not look cleaner? I keep rereading the Don Haslett books on not being a packrat, trying to get inspired to get rid of more stuff. It's a long process when you're me. I give the guy credit, though, he anticipates every packrat's argument for clinging to something.r
