A few people have commented on my RR icon. I know I've confessed this before, but I know half of what I say goes in one ear and out the other with you guys (who am I kidding, probably well more than half).
Back when Ralph was spokesperson for the Christian Coalition, I found myself increasingly impressed by him. I certainly didn't care for many of the ideas he was promoting, but he struck me as a good debater, one who didn't sink into hyperbole and histrionics. That, plus his evil, in-league-with-the-devil mindcontrol powers, got me thinking that in a perverse way, he's sort of, well, attractive. The thought of me glomming onto a guy with a forked tongue and cloven hooves so amused me, I embraced it wholly. Yeah: I had a THING for him.
I don't see him much anymore--not sure who he is working for now. Probably some organization whose principles would utterly repulse me. But I wouldn't kick him out of bed. I'd do my damnedest to convert him.
