For New year's Eve, four teachers have agreed to open up Kirk's daycare center from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. That's right. All night long. They'll put the kids to bed in a huge slumber party. I signed him up, but now I'm actually wondering what the hell we'd do. We never go out for New Year's Eve. It's not just the babysitter issue, but also the mild concern about drunk drivers, and the tendency for bars and restaurants and hotels to offer "packages" that don't appeal to me.
Yes, I am a suburban mom. Booooooooooring.
