I was pretty happy that the Mods closed the "Paul Simon is Dead" thread, the one where the OP was a "Gotcha!" because she, presumably, had no idea who the heck Paul Simon was outside of the guy who sang with Garfunkel.

I like that a dozen or more people said they felt his death was a big deal, and I like that the Mods then shut it down.
