I was childless!

The baby is at his grandparents' home this week. (He is technically no longer a baby, but he will be "the baby" until he is 60, or until I have another baby, which will be never).

Anyway, he comes home tonight and we resume parenthood after five nights without him. Boy, was the house ever quiet.

I think at one point I had this genius idea to go through his toys and cull some while he wasn't here to protest. I just now recalled that. Opportunity lost.
