I'd read some chatter on my local parenting list about the NPR reports from China on the earthquake aftermath, but I hadn't heard any.
Last night, driving to my condo board meeting, I caught some of Melissa Block's reporting. Wow. I had to turn it off. It was so painful to listen to. Have any of you been hearing her reports?
Despite being unable to stand it, I am glad it worked out for them to do such thorough coverage. And while I suppose some might call it unprofessional for Melissa Block to cry on tape, I found it really moving.
ETA: She's married to Stephen Fastis! That's an NPR nerd match made in heaven, I'll bet.
