Opportunity lost
Dec. 5th, 2008 10:27 amSee, THIS is why you don't want to have so many resources tied up in foreign wars. If we didn't have all our troops and materiel bogged down in Iraq & Afghanistan, we could act on this prime opportunity to roll north over the border and take over while they've got their pants down around their ankles. Really, you'd only have to go about 100 miles up and you'll have the vast majority of Canada's population wrapped up.
Naturally, we're not touching Quebec. They're too fiesty. Let them be their own country.
But everything else? OURS. Ours for the taking. If only.
ETA: You know, if it weren't for being overly busy with holiday stuff, I'd consider recruiting some like-minded folk to gather together a coupla troops of boy scouts and maybe some ROTC hotties from campuses near the border. Then off we'd go. Conquer Canada in a coupla hours, be home before dark.
