Opening Ceremonies

I forgot to comment on this--we watched the opening ceremonies and I thought they were pretty cool. My husband claims that some of my amazement is due to the fact that I didn't watch any of the opening ceremonies of the Summer Olympics. I'm really sorry that the fourth pillar thing didn't come up, because I was worried that the glitch would dominate people's impressions of the thing.

In other helpful spousal comments, Mark couldn't get over how much the torches looked like giant blunts.

The whales were really something.

I am watching what appears to be a male figure skater wearing a bustier with pink lacing. Kid can skate though.
