Joe the Plumber is still on the political radar?

Oakland County – Mike Bouchard, Republican candidate for governor, today gained the endorsement of Samuel "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher. On the heels of internal polling numbers showing him tied for first place, Bouchard has gained national attention calling for Right to Work in Michigan, a labor stronghold.

"I am pleased to have "Joe the Plumber’s" endorsement in my race for governor," said Bouchard. "He was not afraid to ask President Obama the tough questions and he didn’t hold back when asking what my plans are for Michigan. I explained to him that under a Bouchard administration modeled after my Blueprint for Prosperity, Michigan will once again be prosperous."

Seeing it with a moms eyes

I just saw two kids in handcuffs sitting on a curb by a u of m police SUV. Young teens, if that. Boy they looked scared. I don't know what the little shits did--all kinds of mischief is possible at Art Fair--but a part of me ached inside. It really hit me hard. They were only a few years older than Kidlet. Or not even that much.

HANDCUFFS.

I am headed home right now to hug my boy. And maybe pre-emptively ground him for ten years.
