Perish the thought

You know, I'm almost hoping the writer's strike drags on. There's a lot of well-written TV out there that I'm missing, and if everything grinds to a halt and goes to re-runs, then maybe I could catch up a bit, see some shows I passed by earlier.

Paul and I might finally use our Netflix subscription! (Probably not.)

I've been joking that it doesn't impact me at all, because we catch everything on DVD.

So I guess the issue comes up in 6 months when we've finished all the stuff that's out now, and nothing else has been released.

In truth, I'll just read a damn book and it still won't really matter.

I agree with what all three of you have said. There was a piece on Talk of the Nation yesterday talking about which reruns of great shows you might want to watch during the strike.

You know what just came out on DVD? Season One of Flight of the Conchords.
