I cannot resist hoisting rats up to the camera. This boy, Mies, was very tolerant.

That nose says "cover me with kisses immediately." And then his little thumbless hands push against my face saying "ooh, cooties, please no more gross human smooches."

Actually, I have three. Mies here, and then housed with him is a little guy named Meep. In a separate cage I have Moe, a big ol' stinky funny-looking grumpus who is yet to be photographed.

Moe looks like an unholy cross between a mole and a Koala bear.
