My friend in Turkey is being evacuated. Nothing like packing up a family of EIGHT on a few days' notice!

I can't watch the news lately. I listened to the BBC on public radio all the way in to work and just felt horrible and guilty and sad.

I checked out a bunch of library books last night. Which equates to a stack of happiness. I may be burying my nose in those as much as possible.s

I have a book due today and I forgot it. Oops. I wonder how much the fine is for one day over.

I heart the A2 Public Library.

That's interesting. I have really been avoiding the news for a while, but now that we seem to actually be going to war, I'm very much more into keeping up on all the details.

Lessee...

1)The fifth Stephanie Plum book in Janet Evanovich's series
2)Another book by Rumer Godden (turning me on to her may be the best gift you've ever given me!)
3) Clowns of God by Morris West (I just love his novels about the papacy)
4) We Were the Mulvaneys by Joyce Carol Oates (I bought this one, from the Friends of the Library book sale)

I can't remember any others. Also two books for Kirk.
