Summer camp

Remember what summer camp was like when you were a kid? Canoeing, making lanyards? Maybe the Park & Rec offered a weeklong seminar in baton twirling?

Today my nine-year-old is taking a morning class in iMovie filmmaking. This afternoon, he's enrolled in a course called "Chocolatier."

I'd rather get a box of gourmet truffles than a braided potholder, so it's not like I'm complaining overmuch. It's just.....different.
