Pumpkins.

Given free reign, I would buy a hundred pumpkins every October. Then I would hire someone to do the drudge work of scooping them out, but I would do the carving.

I'm not even good at--but I love it. Every year it's an agony picking out pumpkins, because each shape is so desirable in its own way. Taaaaaaaall and skinny! Squat and fat! Perfectly round! Wee and cute! HUUUUUGE!
