Things are just more ironic in New Jersey

There is a NJ Congressman who is challenging a NJ Senator for his seat. Recently, the incumbent senator's campaign criticized the congressman for sending a earmark to Rutgers, where his wife works. The senator's campaign said the congressman owed the good people of NJ an explanation for this presumably frivolous and unnecessary earmark.

Only they forget to check the sponsorship on the bill..... it was co-sponsored by: the Senator himself.

SNORT.

Oh delicious irony.

Ha ha!

But in all fairness to both, people who go to Rutgers DO need all the help they can get.

Heh. Jersey politics is kind of a freak show. Not that any other state I know of can be called a bastion of sanity, mind you, but there's just a special sort of crazy over the river.
