Would someone just score a goal already so I can go to bed?

I know Osgood wears an unpainted helmet because he likes the old style for visibility and it doesn't take paint well... and I do like the fancy painted helmets, and Fleury's is awesome....but despite ALL that, I think the fact that Osgood wears an plain helmet is kinda badass.

I love his plain helmet, too. And I don't really care for the painted ones. They feel like "Let's make hockey marketable!" efforts.

Although I did see a line of t-shirts at Wegmans that featured the design of Ryan Miller's helmet (I'm assuming they have other goalies for other markets) spread out, all over the shirt and down one sleeve. It was intense. I was a sorely tempted to buy it, match it with some zubaz pants ... and I guess wear my outfit around until someone shot me.

You can't even see what the painted ones ARE unless you go online and even then you have to get some kind of weird 360 view, and rear back and squint and lean in.... I could see that Fleury's had ice blocks on it, but that was about it.

I had to go to bed after the first overtime ended. I couldn't wait up anymore. I was mad when my husband said the penguins got the score. I was mad that they also scored with only 35 seconds left. That totally sucked.

I fully believe that the Soviets are going to take the cup, but it was nice to see them wet the bed 34 seconds from hoisting it, then lose in OT. What I wonder is...they had a shot of someone unpacking the cup in the Soviet's locker room, lovingly polishing it and shit....and then they give up that goal at the end of the 3rd. I wonder if they went "Oh shit!" and hurriedly stuffed the Cup back into it's box and beat feet out of the locker room. I mean, they must have, but it would be funny to see. I wonder if there's a clip?
