The used bookstore two doors down has a jar full of marbles by the cash register. Along with a sign that says "take a marble, leave a marble."

It makes me smirk every time.

So - have you ever left/taken a marble? And if so, was it a cat's eye, an immie or a glassie?

On my desk at work, I have a glass with about 2 dozen cobalt blue marbles, as proof that I haven't lost them all quite yet.
