What is it about travel and hairbrushes?

I am grooming my hair with a plastic fork because once again I have found myself unpacked in a hotel with no hairbrush to be found. I must own 37 hairbrushes, 35 of which were purchased after making just such a discovery after arriving at my destination.

Exactly. I usually just go with the fingers through the hair and let it dry curly look at that point.

Also, my usual forgot to pack item is deodorant. No fork in the world helps with that. Nope, I'm stuck with expensive and usually stale gift shop deodorant.
