MY DRYER IS DEAD! DEAD!
Weeps, shakes fist at sky
This plunges me into a dilemma of epic proportions. Repair the dryer (Over $300 in parts!!), or get a new one? I think that's a pretty easy call, but it's the last easy question on the list. If we get a new one, is this the moment to lobby hard for a new washer, too? As in, a front loader?
And do we now pull the plug on the upstairs laundry room, with its venting and space problems, and move the whole shooting match to the basement? How will I feel schlepping laundry up and down two flights? Will it be more than made up for by the LUXURY of space to fold clothes, and a dryer vent that works? What about the expense of installing a sink down there? And moving shelves? and retrofitting the laundry room into a storage room?
MY GOD WHO WILL WALK ME THROUGH THIS AGONIZING DECISION-MAKING PROCESS?
I am completely beside myself.
Yes kids, you too can grow up and find yourself dealing with this kind of excitement on a regular basis.
