50 Book Challenge

kz_blogoramblingI just bailed on the 50 book challenge community. Too much traffic, too many people whom I didn't know (and thus whose recommendations and reviews weren't as weighty for me).
Great idea in general, but got too out of hand for me.
It'd be greatly improved if people would confine themselves to doing a once-per-month update.

It's interesting that this community DID start out as a SDMB community, and other people just found it and joined. I don't think anyone advertised it or anything. A victim of its own success, maybe?
